England and Gloucester winger Charlie Sharples will miss Saturday's Six Nations match at Twickenham against Wales due to injury.

Sharples has not yet played for England in this season's Six Nations as Chris Ashton and David Strettle have been selected ahead of him but he was ruled out this week with a dead leg.

England have called up Harlequins hooker Chris Brooker as cover for Bath's Lee Mears (bicep) who is expected to miss this weekend's match.

Mears was third in line behind Dylan Hartley and Rob Webber and has also not yet played for England this Six Nations.
