Leicester Tigers and England centre Manu Tuilagi is expected to "play some part" in England's Six Nations clash against Wales at Twickenham this weekend.

England caretaker coach Stuart Lancaster says that he "thinks" Tuilagi will play some part in this weekend's match.

"It's nice to have people like him coming back into the equation," Lancaster told BBC Radio 5 live.

"It'll be an interesting decision but I think he'll be playing some part."

Tuilagi and his Tigers team mate Toby Flood as well as Northampton Saints lock Courtney Lawes have all returned to fitness from injuries having played for their Premiership clubs over the weekend.

"I'm delighted they got some game time," said Lancaster.

"Manu, Toby and Courtney haven't played a lot recently and to play international rugby you have to be playing at the sharp end of domestic rugby."

England have won both of their opening matches but Lancaster says that he will be making changes to the team for this weekend.

"There will be one or two changes from the Italy game and we certainly think our bench will be an important factor going into the second half," he stated.

"Results will always follow (a good) performance but we recognize the quality of our performances needs to improve."

It is likely that scrum-half Lee Dickson and number eight Ben Morgan will start after they both made impacts off the bench.
